Kanvad yatra
The Kavad Yatra starts from July 11 this time. In such a situation, a guideline has been issued by the government regarding the yatra. In the meeting of the Interstate Coordination Committee on Friday, there was a detailed discussion about the Kandar Yatra and many important decisions were taken. In order to make the Kandar Yatra safe and easy, the meeting of the Interstate Coordination Committee discussed real -time coordination, strictness on rumors, security, mob management and clamping on those who commit shrieks.
In the meeting of the Interstate Coordination Committee, it was decided that the height of Kavad will not be more than 10 feet and this rule will be strictly complied with. Information about what to do and what not to do for Kanwar travelers will be compulsorily displayed on travel routes.
Officers from six states joined
A meeting was organized at Haridwar Mela Control Room on Friday under the chairmanship of Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan. Senior officials of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan were present in this meeting. Meanwhile, a guideline was fixed for the Kandar Yatra. The Chief Secretary said that it is the highest priority of the government to make the Kandar Yatra in a safe streamlined and cordial environment. Real time data and information should be exchanged between all states, so that immediate coordination can be done in an emergency.
All states will share real time updates
In the interstate meeting, mutual cooperation between all states was agreed to operate peaceful, well -organized and coordinated Kanwar Mela. A strategy was chalked out on Delhi Haridwar National Highway-58 for traffic control, postal congestion crowd and alternative routes. Preparations for the Kanwar track and parking were also reviewed. Uttarakhand Director General of Police Deepam Seth said that real time information will be shared among all the states.
Rate list required on dhabas
It was decided in the meeting that a loud -sound music system would not be installed outside the vehicles. It will be banned by giving prior notice to the operators. The SOP made on alcohol and meat will be strictly followed. Separate information groups will be formed in three categories. Following safety standards in dhabas and hotels will be mandatory. The rate list will be pasted. Uttar Pradesh will be informed from time to time about the parking situation of Haridwar.
