In the exciting match of Kerala Cricket League 2025, on Saturday (August 30), Calicat Globstars batsman Salman Nizar did what no one had imagined. In the match against Trivandrum Royals, Nizar hit 11 sixes off the last 12 balls of the innings and on seeing this, the score of Calicat jumped from 115/6 to 186/6.

After the 18th over, it seemed that the Calicut team would be reduced to a simple score. But the attitude of Nizar was saying something else. In the 19th over, he beat senior fast bowler Basil Thampi and scored 31 runs from that over on the basis of five consecutive sixes in the first five balls of the over.

After this, the most memorable moment of the match came to the last over of the innings. The bowler was Abhijeet Praveen, and Nizar, against him, created a wonderful orgy. Talking about the match, Calicut Globstars was reduced to 173 runs in 19.3 overs in response to the target of 186 runs. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that this huge innings of Salman Nizar was a complete match for the team.
