Kenya road accident: 5 Indians lost their lives after falling in bus ditch, 27 people injured

Doha: At least 5 Indian citizens have died after a bus crashed in Kenya. These people were living in Qatar and went to Kenya for holidays. The accident has been given by the Indian Embassy in Doha. The embassy posted on ‘X’, “A group of 28 Indians from Qatar were on a visit to Kenya, where the bus crashed in which he was traveling.” In Nairobi, the Indian High Commission officials are on the spot and are providing all possible help.

Nairobi-based Indian High Commission posted on ‘X’, ‘We are very saddened by the tragic road accident on Ol Jororok-Nakuru Road in Nyandarua County, in which 5 Indian citizens lost their lives.’ The High Commission said, “Condolences to the bereaved families. We pray for the injured to recover early. The counselor team of the High Commission is on the spot and is in close contact with the local authorities to provide all the necessary assistance.

Bus fell into the ditch
The ‘The Gulf Times’ newspaper reported that the bus in which Indian tourists were traveling were out of control and fell into a ditch in North Eastern County Nyandarua. The newspaper quoted community sources as saying that at least 5 tourists from South India have died in the accident. The identity of the dead has not been verified yet, while 27 people are injured. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals in Kenya. (Language)
