KFCC adamant on the insistence of forgiveness with Kamal Haasan, not stopping the Kannada language dispute

Pan India star Kamal Haasan is constantly in trouble with his statement on Kannada language. His film ‘Thug Life’ is also suffering the brunt of this, whose release has been postponed in Karnataka. Kamal Haasan has also been reprimanded by the Carnatic High Court on this matter. Now once again the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has reiterated the demand for apologizing from Kamal Haasan on his statement. However, Haasan had already refused to apologize, now KKFCC’s new statement is awaited.

KFCC convened meeting

The statement issued by KFCC said that the Emergency meeting of the film body was held today after the Karnataka High Court issued an order on the petition filed by Raj Kamal Films International. The statement said, ‘We discussed everything in the meeting so far in the meeting, including Kamal Haasan’s letter which talks about brotherhood, love, trust etc. Like them, we also want love and belief from neighboring states. But we have decided that all the pro -Kannada organizations, government and people of the state want unconditional apology to Kamal Haasan.

Kamal Haasan apologizes unconditionally: KFCC

KFCC requested Kamal Haasan to withdraw his statement with ‘Kannada originated from Tamil’ and apologize unconditionally. KFCC said that the issue has also been seriously discussed in the Karnataka High Court. Therefore, he has decided to withdraw his statement and request to apologize to him in a meeting held on Tuesday.

The release of thug life in Karnataka postponed

Earlier, after Kamal Haasan refused to apologize, the Karnataka High Court currently prohibited the release of thug life in Karnataka, saying that Kamal Haasan’s statement on Kannada language could cause disturbance in the state. The court made this comment while hearing the writ petition of the actor seeking security for the release of the film Thug Life in Karnataka and deferred the hearing till June 10. In such a situation, the film will not be released in Karnataka till June 10. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on 5 June. However, it will be released on the same date worldwide except their kingdom.
