Uttar Pradesh News Desk: The youth, resident of Alipur, Kotwali, had gone to Rae Bareli for treatment on July 30. At around 10 pm, a cousin resident of Bhatni seduced his wife and took her away. When the young man reached home the next day, he came to know about the incident. When he went to the accused’s house to complain, the accused’s father, mother and his sister abused him and chased him away. The police continued to hesitate in the name of investigation on the complaint of the victim. When the victim complained to the CO, the police registered a case against four people including the accused Durgesh Mishra.

Shambhu (55) committed suicide by hanging himself in a flat on Sardar Patel Marg in Civil Lines police station area on Sunday afternoon. Shambhu, a resident of Baghrai, Pratapgarh, used to live in a flat in Prayagraj for a long time and work as a cook for the employees of a contractor. When the contractor’s employees came to have dinner at 12 noon on Sunday, they came to know about Shambhu’s hanging. Police station in-charge Ramashray Yadav said that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
Youth kills himself by hanging
Dheeraj Saroj, 27 year old son of Dujai Saroj, resident of Saraichhatta Gopalpur of Sangramgarh, went to sleep in the room at night. When he did not wake up till late on Sunday morning, people nearby went and saw that his body was hanging from the fan. There was a discussion in the village that due to the dispute, his wife Nirola Devi has been living in her maternal home Sheetalpur Raiyapur Kunda with her four year old daughter for 15 months. After informing the wife, the police sent the body for post-mortem.
Attack over land dispute, four people injured
Indraji, resident of Sangrampur of Nagar Kotwali, has a land dispute with his neighbor. It is alleged that the neighbor started plowing on Sunday evening to take possession of the disputed land. When people from Indraji’s side protested, they were attacked. 60 year old Indraji, 30 year old Seema, 28 year old Shankar and 38 year old Uday Kumar were injured in the attack. All four injured were brought to Raja Pratap Bahadur Hospital. Chilbila outpost incharge Sandeep Tiwari said that when the police arrived on the information of the fight, the accused had fled.
