Kim jong un inspacts new missile factory
Seoul: North Korea said on Monday that its leader Kim Jong Un inspected a new weapon factory, which is important to intensify their plan for mass production of missiles. Kim made the tour before joining a large military parade in China. North Korea’s official ‘Korean Central News Agency’ (KCNA) did not say where Kim inspected where it is located but it is estimated that it may be in Jangang province, which is the major arms industry center of the country adjacent to China.
Grand parade will be held in China
Both China and North Korea confirmed last week that Kim would go to China for the first time after 6 years and would attend the military parade to be held in Beijing on Wednesday. This parade is on the 80th anniversary of China’s resistance against the end of World War II and Japanese aggression. Russian President Vladimir Putin is also among the 26 foreign leaders invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping in this parade. Putin has received Kim’s great support in the attack on Ukraine.

This parade of Beijing will showcase the nearest of the three countries against the US’s efforts to strengthen security cooperation with South Korea and Japan. There is speculation in South Korean media that Kim may leave for China by train on Monday. Security has been tightened in China’s Dandong border city and rail traffic has been stopped. South Korean officials say Kim is providing large quantities of weapons to Russia including artillery and ballistic missiles and has also sent thousands of soldiers.
