Seoul: Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, has made a big statement about North Korea’s nuclear disarmament. Jong dismissed the intention of America, that Washington accept his country as a nuclear weapon -rich country. Kim Yo Jong also said that a new approach should be adopted to resume talks. Kim Yo Jong’s statement indicates that North Korea may return to the conversation table with its terms.

Kim’s sister said that the relationship between her brother and US President Donald Trump is not bad. However, he also said that if the personal relationship between his brother and Trump is expected to be fulfilled by North Korea’s nuclear disarmament, then it is just a ‘joke’ in North Korea’s eyes. In a statement issued by the government media, Kim Yo Jong said that North Korea’s nuclear capacity has increased rapidly since the first round of Kim-Trump diplomacy and any attempt to refuse to refuse North Korea as a nuclear weapon nation.
Why did Kim Yo Jong make a statement?
Kim Yo Jong said she is responding to an alleged remarks of an American officer, stating that Trump is ready to negotiate nuclear disarmament. Some experts say that US President Donald Trump may attempt interacting with North Korea to achieve diplomatic achievement. Trump recently spoke his personal relations with Kim Jong Un and hoped to resume nuclear diplomacy with him. During Trump’s first term, the US diplomacy in 2018-19 failed when she turned down Kim’s call. Kim had demanded extensive relief in restrictions in return for destroying her main nuclear campus, a limited nuclear disarmament step.
