KK did not like singing in weddings, offers worth crores were rejected
Krishna Kumar Kunnath i.e. KK may not be in this world today, but he is still alive in the hearts of fans with his voice. If KK were today, he would have celebrated his birthday on 23 August. Singer KK died on 31 May 2022 during a live concert.
KK has lent his voice to many famous songs. Apart from Hindi, he sang songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati films. KK sang around 35000 jingles before getting a break in films. He also sang the song ‘Josh of India’ to support the Indian team during the Cricket World Cup in 1999.

KK, who gave many hit songs to the cinema world, had never taken any singing training in his life. He was always inspired by Kishore Kumar and Music RD Burman. KK was a singer who offered crores of rupees for the songs of weddings but he turned down it.
In an interview, KK was asked why he did not sing at weddings like other singers. KK then said that he gets many offers. Crores of rupees are lured, but they do not like it so they do not sing. Actually KK was a private kind person. They did not like to come in front of the camera either.
Singer KK believed that there was no need to see the singer. It is necessary for the singer to be heard. His song will show his work. This was the reason that KK’s face was also not seen by the people. He never liked acting so. He preferred to do his work quietly.

In his career, KK gave his voice in many superhit songs like Teri, Dil Ibadat, Kya Mere Pyaar Hai, India Wale, Dola Re Dola Re in his career. He also sang the title songs of shows like Just Mohabbat, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Hip-Hip Hurray and Kavyanjali.
