Know when India will have its own space station? Special preparation of ISRO, vomiting started
Symbolic picture
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) unveiled a model of the Indian Space Station (BAS) module during the two -day National Space Day celebrations started in Delhi on Friday. India plans to launch the first module of their own built space stations, BAS by 2028.
India will join selected countries
This will include India in a group of select countries that operate orbital laboratories. There are currently two orbital laboratories – the international space station operated by five space agencies and the Tiangong space station in China.
ISRO is planning to install five modules
Under its ambitious plans for the space sector, India plans to set up five modules of the Indian Space Station (ISS) by 2035. The BAS-01 module is expected to weigh 10 tonnes and will be installed in the lower orbit of the Earth 450 km above the Earth.
These things will be taken special care
Its main features include indigenously developed environmental control and life support system (ECLSS), India Docking System, India Birthing Mechanism, Automatic Hatch System, Platforms for Micro Gravity Research and Technology Performance, scientific imaging and viewuport for crew.
These subjects will be studied
The Indian Space Station will also have things related to propulsion and ECLSS fluid recurrence, radiation, thermal and micro meteorial orbital debris (MMOD) protection, space suits etc. The BAS is expected to act as a research platform for the study of various aspects of space, life science, medical and inter -intersection.
Tourism will get a boost
This will provide an opportunity to study the effects of subtle gravity on human health and test the techniques required for long -term human presence in space. This space station will promote space tourism and India will enter the commercial space sector by taking advantage of the resources of this orbital laboratory.
This model was the center of attraction
The BAS will contribute to the issued international cooperation and serve as a center for scientific research. At the same time, the younger generation will inspire to make a career in space science and technology. A huge BAS-01 model of 3.8 meters multiplication of 8 meters at the National Space Day celebrations at Bharat Mandapam was the center of attraction among the people present at the National Space Day celebrations.
