Islamabad, September 19 (IANS). An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) court in Lahore on Tuesday extended the interim bail of PTI leader Asad Umar and two sisters of party president Imran Khan till October 4 in connection with the violent incidents on May 9.

Khan’s arrest on 9 May in the al-Qadir Trust case had sparked violence, leading to attacks on key military installations.

On 2 September, Lahore ATC extended the pre-arrest bail of Omar and Imran’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan till 19 September.

During the hearing on Tuesday, ATC judge Abhaar Gul asked for the complete records of the investigation from the police.

During the hearing, Alima said that she had not gone to Jinnah House, where it was vandalized on May 9, and yet her name was linked to the case.

“We have come to the court for justice. We demand justice,” Alima said.
