Actress-filmmaker Divya Khossla recently stole the spotlight at LFW x FDCI on Day 3, donning a regal creation by renowned designer Rajdeep Ranawat. Her ensemble, comprising a lehenga paired with a halter blouse and cape-styled jacket featuring scallop details at the edge, exuded elegance and sophistication, making her look every inch like royalty.
Ranawat, while discussing the inspiration behind his collection, shared, “I was inspired by the jewels of Nizams, after seeing the jewels personally in a museum almost 20 years ago that was always etched in my mind. I combined it with 18th-century tapestry and motifs from my travels to Europe.” This fusion of influences resulted in a stunning garment adorned by Divya, who graced the ramp as the showstopper. The outfit, predominantly black with intricate gold floral prints, showcased Ranawat’s signature blend of classic and contemporary elements.
The Nizam collection by Rajdeep Ranawat featured a color palette dominated by black, white, moss green, and red, accented with a touch of glamour. The silhouettes showcased were fluid and diverse, ranging from dresses, pants, and gowns to cover-ups with monokinis, capes, halters, dhoti pants, blouses with dramatic sleeves, and lehengas, highlighting the designer’s versatility and creativity.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Divya Khossla is gearing up for her Telugu debut in ‘Hero Heeroine’, directed by Suresh Krissna, marking an exciting new chapter in her career as she ventures into regional cinema.
