Like the Earth’s moon, this moon present in space spews fire and electricity and not coldness, the discovery shocked even the scientists.

Science News Desk – NASA scientists have discovered an ‘outer moon’ which is no less than hell. It may also be the first official exomoon. The surprising thing is that hot lava is flowing on the surface of this moon made of metal. Fountains of poisonous gases are coming out from its surface. There is also lightning shining around it. This moon that is erupting like a volcano is going to end soon. The planet WASP-49b around which it revolves is also a different alien world. Both the planet and its star are blazing. This moon is between its planet and star. Therefore it is getting heat from both sides. It must have been born like a metal cloud.

Now this will end soon. WASP-49b is an exoplanet. That means an outer planet. An exoplanet is one that is not in our solar system. It is three times smaller than our planet Jupiter and is about 635 light years away from Earth. This planet was discovered in 2012. It completes one revolution around its star in 2.8 days. The temperature is 1100 degrees Celsius.

The rotating moon was discovered in 2017
In 2017, scientists observed a huge cloud of sodium between WASP-49b and its star. It was amazing to see clouds of any kind moving around a planet. Because WASP-49b and its star could not together give rise to such matter. Later the mystery was revealed. A moon emerged. It is continuously spewing lava from its surface. Due to which hot sodium comes out.

The moon is spewing out 1 lakh kilograms of sodium every second.
NASA scientist Rosalie Lopes said that this moon is spewing 1 lakh kilograms of sodium into space every second. This much sodium would not even be inside the planet WASP-49b. This moon is creating a cloud of sodium on its own. Whereas usually this work is done by a planet or star. If the team of scientists confirms, then this lava spewing moon of WASP-49b will be declared the first exomoon outside the solar system.
