The PM will inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge Chenab on Banihal railway project from Udhampur at 11 am today. After that, the figs on this track will also be inaugurated. This is the first such railway bridge in the country which is built on cable sted technology. This historic bridge will not only connect the Kashmir Valley with the whole of India, but will also give new pace to trade, tourism and industrial development in the region. PM is inaugurating a project of 46 thousand crores in Jammu and Kashmir today. Vande, who is going to start from Katra to Srinagar from Katra at 12 noon, will flag off India. Through this train, the route from Jammu to Srinagar will be only 24 hours.
