Live-in partner burnt alive in Bengaluru: Car on signal

A shocking case of murder has come to light in Bangalore, Karnataka by burning a live-in partner alive. The accused first chased the car rider live-in partner. Then stopped the car at the signal and sprinkled petrol. The incident is on Saturday.

There were a total of three people in the car. When the woman escaped from the car, the accused chased her. Put more petrol on it and set it on fire with lighter. The woman was scorched 60 per cent. He died during treatment in the hospital. The police have arrested the accused.

Police said that the accused has been identified as 50 -year -old Vitthal. He was a cab driver and addicted to alcohol. The deceased woman’s name was Vanajakshi. She was 35 years old. Both came in a live-in relationship about four years ago.

Vanajakshi was troubled by alcohol addiction
Vitthal was married three times. Vanajakshi was also married twice before coming to live-in. She was recently separated from Vitthal’s alcohol addiction and repeated harassment and separated from her. Vanajakshi also became friends with another person named Mariappa.

On the day of the incident, Vanajakshi was returning from a temple with Mariappa and driver from a car. Vitthal was chasing Vanjakshi’s car. On a traffic signal, Vitthal stopped the car and sprinkled petrol on Vanajakshi, Mariappa and the driver.

Vanajakshi fell while escaping, set fire to Vittal
Mariappa and the driver fled from there, but Vitthal chased Vanjakshi. When Vanajakshi fell while fleeing, Vitthal put more petrol on him and set him on fire with a lighter. A person passing by ran to save Vanajakshi. He extinguished the fire with a piece of cloth and rushed him to a private hospital with the help of people.

Seeing a crowd of people gathering at the scene, Vitthal ran away from the spot. At the same time, Vanajakshi was burnt up to about 60 percent. He died in the hospital. The person who saved him was also burnt moderately.
