Uttar Pradesh News Desk: Wife and brother have held SIPSA officers responsible for the suicide of steno Rajendra Kumar Joshi before receiving Rs 80 lakh PF gratuity. Rajendra’s brother Brij Mohan Joshi, who reached the post-mortem house, told that when his brother was posted, why did the office officials not ask for the files from him? What was the reason that as soon as he took VRS, notices from Deputy General Manager Dr. Rinku Srivastava started coming?
Brijmohan Joshi told that brother applied for VRS in March. They got it in May. From March to May the office people were not able to ask for the files. After all, what is the reason that after VRS he suddenly started asking for files? To harass his brother, officers withheld Rs 80 lakh from his PF and gratuity. Brother and his entire family became dependent on every penny. Braj Mohan told that since he lives in Delhi. Younger brother Rajesh Joshi lives in Canada. That’s why there used to be a little gap in the brother’s conversation, but when he got the information, he even sent him money for treatment. Brother was a bit shy so he did not tell everything. Rajesh had also mailed to the Executive Director of SIPSA in this regard. Even after this no action was taken. Departmental officer and Finance Controller Braj Bihari was continuously putting pressure on his brother regarding the files. They were issuing notice after notice. Due to this the brother was under great stress. The notice was sent to brother’s house at around 11 am. After this he left the house and committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. Brother has a daughter. After the body was found post-mortem, the last rites were performed in the presence of relatives.
The family members had made verbal allegations. No complaint has been given yet in this regard. Based on whatever complaint he gives, investigation will be done and action will be taken.
