This festival is dedicated to Goddess Gauri, which is a symbol of wealth, prosperity and power. In this three-day festival, the idol of Goddess Gauri is brought home (Gauri Awahana), she is worshiped on the second day (Gauri Pujan), and the idol is immersed on the third day (Gauri immersion).

In the year 2025, Jyeshtha Gauri call is on Sunday, August 31, 2025, the auspicious time of Gauri Puja is on Monday, September 1, 2025 from 5:59 am to 6:43 pm.

Goddess Gauri will be called on Sunday, August 31, 2025 for 05.25 minutes.

Prayer:

Goddess Gauri will be worshiped on Monday, September 01, 2025.

Auspicious time:

The auspicious time of worship is from 5:59 am to 6:43 pm.

Jyeshtha Gauri immersion can be done on Tuesday, September 02, 2025 for 09.50 minutes.

In this way, the 3 -day Jyestha Gauri fast will start from 31 August and end on 2 September 2025. With this, the sixteen -day Mahalakshmi festival will also start from 31 August 2025 this year and will run till 14 September 2025. This fast lasts for a full 16 days and it is believed that by doing this, there is a habitat of happiness and prosperity in the house and removes poverty.
