Mahindra aims to boost sales around the festive season with the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition and capture more market share

Mahindra has introduced the new Scorpio Classic Boss Edition as part of the 2024 festive season campaign. This special edition features dark chrome styling elements on the outside and black seat upholstery inside the cabin, distinguishing it from the standard model. However, the price of the Boss edition has not been revealed.

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition retains the two-tone black and beige dashboard but adds all-black seat upholstery for a more premium and sportier appeal. Key features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs and automatic air conditioning. It will be priced slightly higher than the regular model, which ranges from Rs 13.62 lakh to Rs 17.42 lakh (ex-showroom).

It also has safety features like reverse parking camera and front sensors and airbags. On the outside, the special edition features dark chrome accents on the front grille, headlamps, fog lamps, door handles and tail lamps. Without any performance changes, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is equipped with the familiar 2.2 liter four-cylinder diesel engine.

This engine produces a maximum power output of 132 PS and peak torque of 300 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Other highlights of the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition are carbon fiber applique on the wing mirrors, dark chrome accented hood scoop, dark chrome rear quarter glass and turn indicators and rain visor.

Mahindra Scorpio is a household name available in the domestic market for over twenty years and is an updated version of the classic older generation and is based on the ladder frame chassis. Combined sales of the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic have resulted in Mahindra registering impressive sales numbers every month in India.
