Mahindra Thar 5-door will be launched in India next year and now new information has come out about it.
Mahindra Thar has a strong fan-following in India and this popular off-roader is soon going to be launched in 5-door version. Currently, it has been more than 3 years since the launch of Mahindra Thar and still customers have to wait to buy it. To continue this trend further, Mahindra will launch Thar 5-door next year i.e. in 2024 and it has been seen during testing in many parts of the country.
In the latest pictures of Mahindra Thar 5-door, it can be seen with a cover, because the company does not want its information to be revealed before its official launch. However, we can easily see the new highlight elements that differentiate it from the existing 3-door Thar. This SUV can be seen with fully finished body panels, fenders, side cladding and bumpers, which makes it seem that it is completely ready for production.
It can be seen in the new pictures that the Thar 5-door has been given unique design elements. Talking about major changes, it has been given a new front grille with a new slat pattern with horizontal line elements. Apart from this, we can also see LED headlamps with DRL and the fog lamps also seem to be LED units.
At the rear, the tail lamps continue with the same rectangular design, although the light pattern seems slightly different. Apart from this, alloy wheels may also get a new design. Pictures surfaced some time ago revealed that the Thar 5-door will get a 10-inch larger infotainment system, a new steering wheel like the Scorpio N and XUV700, front and rear armrest as well as a sunroof.
Now in the pictures that have surfaced, it is seen that it is equipped with a new dashcam, but it seems that it has been installed separately to record testing activities. Mahindra Thar 5-door will get both petrol and diesel powertrains, which will be paired with the option of automatic and manual gearboxes.
This much-awaited offroader SUV from Mahindra will probably be launched in mid-2024. Apart from this, the company will also launch Mahindra XUV300 facelift next year, which has been seen several times during testing.
