Mahua broke a man’s marriage: Kalyan Banerjee
After a statement about the Kolkata gang rape case, the war between Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyana Banerjee and Mahua Moitra came to light. Banerjee questioned Moitra’s marriage to former BJP MP Pinaki Mishra.
He said- Moina calls me anti-female? What are they? What have they done? She is back from her honeymoon. He broke a 40 -year -old family of a man, married a 65 -year -old man. She is calling me anti -female?
On June 27, Banerjee had said- how can someone survive if a friend rapes his friend. TMC MLA Madan Mitra had said that this incident has sent this message to girls, if someone calls when the college is closed, do not go, it will not be good. If that girl does not go there, then this incident does not happen.
TMC has opted out of Banerjee and Madan Mitra’s statements. On May 28, Moina wrote in his X post posting the post of TMC’s official X account- hatred against women in India is beyond the party line. What is different in TMC official (X account) is that we condemn these disgusting comments, no matter what they do.
In fact, a gang rape incident occurred on the evening of 25 June from a law college student in Kolkata. The main accused is Monojo Mishra, a member of the TMC Student Wing. Two accused are college students. The police arrested 2 accused on 26 June. The third was arrested on the morning of 27 June. The three are in police custody till 10 July.
Mahua Moitra shared a photo with former BJD MP Pinaki Mishra on 3 May. It was written in the caption- Thank you all for love and best wishes !! I am very grateful
This is the second marriage. It was claimed that he was married in Germany on 3 May. However, the ceremony was kept completely private. Mahua is 50 years old. He is a Lok Sabha MP from Krishnanagar seat in West Bengal.
Pinaki Mishra (65) has a son-one daughter from the previous marriage. Mishra has studied at St. Stephen’s College. Has earned a law degree from Delhi University. He has been a former MP from Puri, Odisha. There is also a lawyer of the Supreme Court.
