Makhane Raita
It is a summer season and things made of curd are very beneficial to keep the body cool from inside. Makhana raita is not only delicious, but is also very easy to make nutrients. It is ready in minutes and keeps the body hydrated in summer as well as gives many health benefits.
Makhana Raita Material:
Curd – 1 cup, makhana – 1 cup, desi ghee – 1 tsp, roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp, black salt – ½ tsp, red chilli powder – ½ tsp, finely chopped green chillies – 1, finely chopped green coriander – 1 big spoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, nye
Method of making makhane raita:
Put 1 teaspoon of desi ghee in a pan and fry till the makhan becomes crisp. When the makhane becomes crisp and breaks down easily when it breaks, turn off the gas. Remove the roasted makhans in a plate and let it cool. If you want, you can also grind some of these makhanas, which will thicken raita.
Take curd in a big pot and whisk it well. Whisk it until it becomes smooth. Now add roasted cumin powder, black salt, white salt and red chili powder and mix well. If you want, you can also add finely chopped green chilies.
Put the roasted and cold makhans in the curd mixture. If the raita looks very thick, you can add some water. Garnish by adding finely chopped coriander over above. Keep the raita of the makhana in the fridge for a while. Cold raita looks even more tasty.
