So that a lot of lamps can be made and ready before Diwali and while lighting the lamp, there is only a need to add ghee or oil in it.
Trick to make round cotton wick
To make a round wick (cotton wick), cotton will be required and also to make a market like wick, empty medicine packets will be required. Now apply some ghee on your hands and take small cotton balls, hold one end and rotate it with a pinch. So that a part of the cotton rotates and becomes longer.
Now just cut the medicine packet, place a cotton wick in it and also add ghee. Add more ghee and store it in the freezer. So that they settle and your readymade batis are ready. Whenever there is a need to light something, just place these wicks in the lamp and light it.
Trick to make long cotton wick
Long cotton wicks are also required to light lamps in the house. These lamps can be made in bulk within minutes. All you need for this is a thin wooden skewer and a plain stool. Place a little cotton on a rough wooden plank and place a stick on it and rub it with your palms. A long wick will be ready in one go with just cotton. In this way, many wicks can be made quickly.
