If you want to eat something light in breakfast, then you can make delicious breakfast with semolina. You must have tasted semolina’s upma, pudding and cheela many times, but have hardly eaten such a soft and delicious breakfast. It is also very easy to make. Only semolina and yogurt are prepared as breakfast. Children will also eat it with great taste. If you tasted this breakfast once with spicy chutney, you will make it and eat it. First step- Take 1 cup of semolina, you can take any thick or fine. Now put the semolina in a large jar of the grinder. Add half a cup of curd and half a cup of water to it. Add 1 teaspoon cooking oil and grind all the things and prepare it like a paste.
Second step- Now take out the semolina paste in a vessel and rotate some water in a jar and mix it in this paste. A very smooth batter will be ready. Add half the spoon cumin, salt as per taste, half small spoon sugar. Add a spoon of ginger and green chili paste.
Third step- Mix all the things well and beat the batter in the same direction for 2 minutes. Keep the batter covered for 10 minutes, so that the semolina will swell well. Meanwhile, you can make sauce if you want.
Fourth step- Now grease the Dhokla plate. If there is no plate, then you should grease any steel box. Now put 1 teaspoon of eno in the batter and add 1 teaspoon of water on top. Mix it and immediately put the batter in a plate or tiffon. Already, keep the water in the pan or the pot in which the plate is to be kept.
Fifth step- Put a plate with dhokla in water and sprinkle a little chaat masala or pabbhaji masala over it. Cover with a plate and cook it on medium high flame for 15 minutes. After the time is complete, put a knife in the middle and check it. When the knife turns out very clean, understand that it is cooked.
Sixth step- Now remove the plate from the water and let it cool for 5 minutes. Now take it lightly out of the edge and then cut it into a pizza -like shape. Now apply light oil on a pan and remove the chopped pieces and bake lightly on the pan for 2 minutes. Sprinkle green coriander and serve this breakfast of semolina with spicy chutney.
