However, some people are afraid of the hard work done in making moong dal pudding. Moongdal’s pudding recipe

First step- First of all you have to take 2 big cups washed moongdal. Now put the lentils in a pan and fry it on the medium flame till it turns brown well. Now leave the lentils to cool down. When cooled, add coarsely and grind it. Moongdal’s pudding becomes more tasty than coarsely ground lentils.

Second step- In which the lentils are roasted, add ground moong dal and fry it lightly. Now add about 1 cup of desi ghee to the lentils and fry till it turns brown. When the lentils are well roasted, add water to it and thicken it while stirring lightly. Now put half a cup of mawa in the pudding.

Third step- Add about 1 cup of sugar mixing all the things. Now let the pudding cook on medium flame. Cook the moong dal pudding while stirring continuously. Turn off the gas when the pudding starts releasing oil. Garnish the pudding with chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.

Fourth step- Tasty moongdal pudding is ready. Serve it to the guests who come home. During the rainy days, it seems very tasty to eat moong dal pudding. The special thing is that moongdal pudding does not spoil for 3-4 days. You can easily eat it by keeping it in the fridge.
