Spicy okra’s vegetable recipe
Material:
- 500 grams fresh and soft lady finger
- 1 large onion finely chopped or tall chopped
- 1 medium tomato finely chopped or paste
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 3-4 tablespoons mustard oil
- Finely chopped coriander
Spices in lady finger
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Amchur powder 1 small tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Salt taste
- Fennel powder 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi 1/2 T Spoon
Method of making spicy lady finger
step 1- First of all, wash the lady finger thoroughly and let the water dry. Now cut the front and back of the ladyfinger and cut the lady finger into large pieces. One can cut a lady finger into 3 pieces. You can also cut the okra into two parts by making an incision.
Step-2- Keep in mind that there should be no moisture in the lady finger, it makes the lady finger sticky. If you want, you can keep the ladyfinger and roast it lightly and keep it aside. This ends the sticking of lady finger.
Step-3- Now heat the oil in the pan and add cumin and asafoetida to it. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add some celery and finely chopped green chili. Now fry the chopped onion until golden. It is very important to roast the onion well, this increases the taste of the vegetable.
Step-4- Now add ginger-garlic to it and fry for a while. Now add all ground spices turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, fennel powder. Fry spices for 30-40 seconds, do not burn the spices.
Step-5- If you are using tomatoes, then add chopped tomatoes or paste at this time. Fry until the tomato turns soft. Now add as much water to the spices, as the masala is to be kept in the ladyfinger. Add fryed ladyfing to the spices and mix well with spices.
Step-6- Add salt and mix okra and spices well. Now cover and let the lady finger cook on low heat. Keep stirring in between 2-3 minutes in between so that the lady finger does not lose and does not stick. Cook the ladyfinger until it becomes soft.
Step-7- Add mango and garam masala to the vegetable and add green coriander and kasoori methi over it. Cook the vegetables for 1 minute and then turn off the gas. The hot spicy lady’s vegetable is ready. Eat it with roti, paratha, dal-rice or puri.
