Makhana is very beneficial for the body. Children and elders everyone like the taste of Makhana. Makhana must have eaten a lot in snacks, but delicious vegetables are also made from Makhane. When there is no vegetable in the house or feels like eating something special, then you can make tasty vegetables from roasted makhane. Makhana vegetable becomes ready in a few minutes. You must try this recipe of Makhane’s gravy vegetable once.

Makhana vegetable recipe

First step- To make the vegetable of Makhana, take 1 bowl of makhana and put them in a pan and fry them dry. Makhano has to roast dry until crispy. Press the makhana by hand and check that there is a crush. If it is happening then Makhana is roasted.

Second step- Now roast 1 tbsp of gram flour in this pan on low medium flame. Turn off the gas as soon as the color of gram flour changes lightly and frys gram flour. Remove the gram flour. In this pan, roast 1 teaspoon of Kasuri fenugreek on a very low flame. Kasuri fenugreek will burn on more oil flame and its taste will end.

Third step- Now put 2 teaspoons of oil in the pan and heat it. Put half a teaspoon of cumin seeds in the oil and add 1 fine onion. Add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste and 1 finely chopped green chili. Fry the onion until golden. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chili to the spices and fry. Add 2 medium size finely chopped tomatoes and fry it. Turn off the gas when tomatoes start releasing oil. When the spices cool down, mix a quarter cup of fresh curd in the spices.

Fourth step- Follow the gas flame and cook the curd mixed spices till they leave the oil again. Now add 1 cup of water and roasted gram flour to the spices. Cook the gravy for 3-4 minutes and prepare it. Put roasted makhana in gravy. Add salt and garam masala and crush the kasoori fenugreek and add it.

Fifth step- Mix all the things and cook the vegetable for 2 minutes and then add finely chopped coriander over it. It is ready to eat Makhane’s super tasty vegetable, with roti or paratha.
