Malegaon Blast: ‘Mohan Bhagwat was asked to catch’, former ATS officer claims

Meanwhile, a former police officer of the Maharashtra Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS), who investigated the Malegaon bomb blast case, has made a sensational disclosure. The former police officer has claimed that he was asked to arrest Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Why tried to catch Bhagwat?
After the decision in the Malegaon blast case, former Inspector Mehboob Muzawar, while reacting it, has made a big disclosure. Muzawar has reported that he was asked to arrest Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. According to Muzawar, the purpose of order to arrest Bhagwat was to establish ‘saffron terrorism’.
Fake investigation of fake officer exposed- former officer
Former Inspector Mehboob Muzawar has said in Solapur that the court’s decision in the Malegaon blast case has rejected the ‘fraud of ATS’. Let us tell you that initially the matter was investigated by ATS. However, the NIA later took the case into its hand. Muzawar further said, “This decision has exposed a fake investigation conducted by a fake officer.”
What order did Muzawar get?
In Malegaon, Maharashtra, 6 people were killed and around 101 people were injured in the blast on 29 September 2008. Mehboob Muzawar has said that he was part of the ATS team investigating the blast. Muzawar told that he was asked to catch Mohan Bhagwat ‘. Mujawar said- “I cannot say what the ATS investigated at that time and why I was given some confidential orders about celebrities like Ram Kalsangra, Sandeep Dange, Dilip Patidar and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. All these orders were not such that they could be followed.”
A false case was registered against me- Muzawar
Former Inspector Mehboob Muzawar said that he did not follow the order and did not arrest Mohan Bhagwat as he knew the reality. Mujawar told- “It was beyond my ability to catch a big person like Mohan Bhagwat. Since I did not follow the orders, a false case was registered against me and it ruined my 40 -year career. “He further said that” there was no saffron terrorism.
