Man beaten to death, 20 people arrested for raising pro-Pakistan slogans

There is an atmosphere of anger in the whole country after terrorist attacks and killing innocents in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. However, due to this anger many people are taking the law in their hands. Meanwhile, the news of murder has now come to light from Mangaluru district of Karnataka. A daily wage laborer in Mangaluru was beaten to death during a cricket match on Sunday for allegedly raising “pro-Pakistan slogans”. Now the victim has been identified.

Dead identity

The person who was killed has been identified on the charge of raising pro -Pakistan slogans. The district police said on Wednesday that the victim’s name is Ashraf and he was a resident of Wayanad in Kerala. In this case, the police have arrested 20 people so far, the search for the other 5 is still going on.

Beat beaten murdered

The incident came to light at around 5.30 pm on Sunday evening, when the police received information about an unknown body. There was no external injury mark on the body. Initially a case of unnatural death was registered and the body was sent to Valocolok District Hospital for post -mortem. Kulasekhar resident Deepak Kumar lodged a complaint in this case. The police have arrested the accused of the incident based on pictures and videos shared on social media. In the initial investigation, the accused told the police that during the cricket match, Ashraf allegedly raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad, causing 25 youths to beat Ashraf.

CM Siddaramaiah made a statement

On the incident of mob lynching in Kudupu of Mangaluru, CM Siddaramaiah of Karnataka has said to be legal action against the accused after investigating the case. However, Siddaramaiah has also said that anyone who raises slogans in support of Pakistan is wrong. This is an act of treason.
