Vipul, who has made films like Aankhen, Time: The Race Against Time, Namaste London, London Dreams, Action Replay, and Namaste England, is producing the film under the banner of Sunshine Pictures. The responsibility of directing has been entrusted to Chinmay Mandlekar.
‘Governor’ has been in development under Sunshine Pictures for the last two years. The casting of other lead characters of the film is currently running. Pre-production work has also started and shooting is likely to begin between July and August. Manoj Bajpayee is very excited about this project as it will be a completely different and unique character of his career.
