Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are going to knock in the global market soon. The South Korean company has confirmed many information about its upcoming foldable smartphones. Both these phones can be the first phones to come with Oneui 8 based on Android 16. This new customized operating system of Samsung is currently in testing phase. As soon as Android 16 is launched, Samsung will roll it out for its flagship devices.

First smartphone with Android 16?

Samsung has shown the interface of Oneui 8 in its newsroom post. This customized operating system will be based on Android 16, which is currently in beta phase. The company told in its post that the new foldable smartphone will be launched with this OS. According to the report, Samsung can launch its foldable phone in the second half of the year. There are speculations that they can be launched globally in July or August.

Will these three models be launched?

Samsung can launch three foldable smartphones instead of two this year. Many leaked reports about these phones have been revealed recently. Samsung can also launch the Galaxy Z Flip Feed Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in this series. All three phones can be the first phone to come with Oneui 8 based on Android 16. These phones can come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Also, the foldable phone’s hinz design and build quality will also be improved.

Partnership between Samsung and Google

The South Korean company has a strategic partnership with Google, the company that makes Android operating system, in which the company’s latest operating system will be rolled out for Samsung’s flagship phones first. Google first releases its operating system for its pixel phone. It is later released for other OEM or mobile companies. Due to the partnership with Samsung, the latest OS for pixel phones as well as Galaxy Z foldable series is being released for Galaxy Z foldable series.
