Many new features related to Jio Hotstar, from voice search to cricket commentary will be able to make live

Jio Hotstar is going to get many new features soon. In the 48th AGM of Reliance Industries, the company has announced to add AI based features to its leading OTT app. Jio Hotstar will soon add new voice assistant feature Riya, through which users will be able to search the digital content on the platform easily. Apart from this, features like voice print, live translation will be added to it.
These special features will be added to Jio Hotstar
In the Reliance AGM, Jio’s head Akash Ambani said that the OTT platform has an online content of 3.2 lakh hours, which is 6 times more than any other platform. Let me tell you that in November last year, Jio and Disney Star were merged, after which an OTT platform was created by merging the content of Disney+ Hotstar and Jio Cinema.
The company has added voice enabled search assistant Riya in Jio Hotstar, which is based on natural language support. Through this feature, users will be able to use voice command to see any content on Jio Hotstar. Apart from this, Jio Voice Print and AI Voice Translation feature has also been added. Users will soon start getting these features in Jio Hotstar.
Users will be able to see sports content or entertainment content of other languages in Indian languages through Jio Voice Print. This is a feature based on lip sink technology, which will work through AI through AI. The Jio Hotstar app has added 600 million users in the last three months. Apart from this, Jio Hotstar has become the second largest streaming platform in the world in terms of active subscribers in the connected app.
Apart from this in Reliance AgM 2025, the company has made many big announcements including Jio AI Cloud, Reliance Assistant, Jio Cloud PC, Jio Frames. The company said that Jio now has more than 500 million family members. The company provides many service users including mobile, broadband.
