Market closed with boom, Sensex strengthened 256 points, Nifty closed at 25,103

The domestic stock market closed rapidly on Monday. NSE Nifty 50 closed at 25,103 above 25,000 points in the second consecutive session, while the Sensex closed at 256 points or 0.3% higher than the previous bandh at 82,445. Except for the realty sector, all the other sectoral index closed in the green mark, with IT, OL and Gas, Power, PSU bank, a 1-1 percent increase. The BSE midcap and smallcap index recorded a 1-1 percent increase.

Who fell the most

According to the news, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Geo Financial, Trent Nifty were among the major benefits of stocks, while ICICI Bank, Titan Company, M&M, Adani Ports, Eternal declined. The Indian rupee also closed stable at 85.63 per dollar on Monday, while it closed at 85.63 per dollar on Friday. The lead in the Indian stock market was strengthened by RBI’s monetary policy and strong American employment data. Shopping on a broader basis, especially mid-cap financial and auto stocks contributed to positive sentiments in the market.

How was the trend of Asian markets

Asian markets were in a rapid trend on Monday. Trade tension between Washington and Beijing seems to be decreasing as China has allegedly given temporary approval for the export of rare economy, while the Jetinner Boeing Company has started delivery of commercial jet to Asian superpower. The CSI 300 index rose 0.29% to 3,885.25, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index rose by 1.63% to 24,181.43, and technology-dominated hang Seng tech index increased 2.78% to 5,433.23.



Japan’s benchmark Nikkei rose 225 0.92% to 38,088.57, while the broad topics index rose 0.58% to 2,785.41. As per the revised estimates, the country’s GDP contraction for the January to March quarter was limited to an annual 0.2%, lower than the 0.7% print released earlier. The Kospi Index in South Korea climbed 1.55% to close at 2,855.77, while the short-cap Kosdack rose 1.06% to 764.21.
