Market closed with high passion, Sensex rose 855 points, Nifty crosses 24,126 – Cross Talk India

The domestic stock market closed down strongly in the first trading session of the week. Indian stock market benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty 50 took the lead in the fifth consecutive season on Monday, 21 April. The Sensex closed at 79,408.50 with a gain of 855.3 points, while the Nifty closed at 24,125.55 with a gain of 50, 273.90 points. The BSE midcap and smallcap indices recorded a rise of 2.20 percent and 1.67 percent respectively.

Investors have a hefty money

Due to the bounce in the domestic stock market, investors’ capital increased by Rs 6 lakh crore in a session today. The total market cap of BSE-listed firms increased to about Rs 426 lakh crore. Talking about the last five sessions, a jump of 5,561 points has been recorded in the Sensex. While the Nifty 50 has seen a rise of 1,726 points. In these five sessions, the capital of investors increased by about Rs 32 lakh crore.

Top gainer and top loser stocks

Sensex companies were among the most profitable benefits among Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Tech, State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys and Reliance Industries. Adani Ports, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Asian Paints and Nestle Back were included.

HDFC Bank shares rose by more than 1 percent, as this major private lender recorded a 7 percent increase in its integrated net profit for the March quarter, to Rs 18,835 crore. Infosys shares rose by more than 2 percent after the company’s march quarter increased on a gradual basis. Reliance Industries shares rose by about 2 percent, which also rose in benchmark indices.

The condition of world markets

According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) on Thursday 4,667. Bought shares worth Rs 94 crore. In the Asian markets, South Korea’s Cupie Index and Shanghai SSE composite closed in positive sector, while Tokyo’s Nikkei closed down 225. Markets remained closed in Hong Kong. The US markets mostly closed down on Thursday. The equity market in the US remained closed for ‘Good Friday’.
