Maruti Suzuki vehicles became expensive, company increased the price of these two models from today
Country The largest automobile company Maruti Suzuki India has increased the price of its two major trains by 1.4 percent. Maruti has implemented an increase in the price of 7 -seat Ertiga and 5 -seat Baleno with immediate effect. Maruti Suzuki said in an exchange filing on Wednesday that the price of Ertiga has been increased by 1.4 percent. Whereas, the prices of Baleno have been increased by 0.5 percent. The company said on Wednesday that 6 airbags have been included in these models under the new rules.
Expensive vehicles due to increasing airbags
Maruti Suzuki said that under the new rules with 6 airbags, the ex-showroom price of vehicles has been increased due to increasing the number of airbags in these models. New prices for Ertiga and Baleno have also been implemented today i.e. from July 16, 2025. Let us tell you that the price of large -scale Ertiga in the form of family cars and taxis is between Rs 8.97 lakh to Rs 13.25 lakh. Whereas, the company’s premium hatchback Baleno is priced between Rs 6.7 lakh to Rs 9.92 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki’s shares on BSE today rose by Rs 30.65 (0.24%) on BSE at a price of Rs 12,565.60 amidst changes in the price of trains. The company’s shares are trading close to their 52 weeks high. Its 52 week high is Rs 13,675.00 and 52 week is Rs 10,725.00. According to BSE data, Maruti Suzuki’s current market cap is Rs 3,95,065.70 crore.
