Union Minister Gadkari said in a post shared on social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday, “Congratulations to Maruti Suzuki India for getting 5 star Bharat NCAP ratings to the new Dzire. It is a glorious milestone for the Made-in-India cars. ”In 2023, the indigenous system ‘Bharat NCAP’ was launched in 2023 under the guidance of Nitin Gadkari. It aims to improve road safety standards of up to 3.5 tonnes. Let us tell you that before launching in November 2024, Global NCAP gave 5 star safety ratings to Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Nitin Gadkari said that it is encouraging to see popular models installing new standard in vehicle safety. He said, “Our goal with India NCAP is to raise awareness among people about vehicle safety so that customers can take a good decision and give priority to security while buying a car.”
