Anil/Ranchi. In Latehar, Jharkhand, late last night on Tuesday, militants set fire to five coal-carrying trucks. There are also reports of militants assaulting the drivers and firing 15-20 rounds.

On Tuesday night, near Laat forest of Herhanj police station area of ​​Latehar, militants set on fire five trucks carrying coal from the Tubed coal mines operated by DVC. In this regard, a militant organization named JPC (Jharkhand Present Committee) has taken responsibility for the incident by leaving a leaflet. During this period, the militants also fired 15 to 20 rounds to spread panic.

Five highways used to transport coal were set on fire by the militants, resulting in the complete destruction of the highway. According to the information, criminals in number of 10 to 12 arrived and set fire to the Haiwa vehicle which was transporting coal. The militants have left leaflets at the spot. A militant organization called JPC (Jharkhand Present Committee) has taken responsibility for the incident. During this, the drivers were beaten up. To create panic, the militants also fired 15 to 20 rounds. After the incident, police reached the spot early this morning on Wednesday and are investigating the matter.
