Milkman shot dead on Agra Expressway, police scanning CCTV
A milkman was shot dead at a tube well located on the service road of Lucknow Expressway in the Uttar Pradesh News Desk police station area. He had returned after delivering milk at the expressway toll canteen. On receiving information about the murder, senior police officials reached the spot. No clue has been found yet about the killers.
Late evening, Monu Sharma (30), son of Ramsevak Sharma, resident of Pratappura, was returning to the village on bike after giving milk at the canteen of the toll plaza of Lucknow Expressway. He stopped at his tube well on the service road. The attackers already ambushed there surrounded him. There the milkman fought with the attackers. The attackers opened fire. A bullet hit Monu in the head. To save his life, he ran towards the village with his bike. His bike went out of control and fell into the pit. Monu fell in a potato field on the unpaved road of village Pratappura. The attackers fired at him there also. Hearing the sound of firing, the villagers reached the spot. They found Monu lying in the fields soaked in blood. The bike was lying nearby. Family members also reached. Monu was brought to SN Emergency where doctors declared him dead. On information, ACP Fatehabad Amardeep Lal and police station reached. There is chaos in the family due to the death of the milkman.
Police are scanning the CCTV. ACP Fatehabad Amardeep said that the CCTV footage is being scanned to uncover the murder. The attackers are being traced.
Milkman Monu was shot in Pratappura of Fatehabad police station. He died on the way to the hospital. Field unit to investigate the incident. Dog squad, SOG and other teams have been deployed. The incident will be revealed soon.
