At the same time, Mithun Chakraborty’s younger son Namashi has described the Bollywood industry as fake during an interview. He also criticized the makers for not giving the outsiders a chance and accused them of bias.

Talking to ‘Huz on Air’ with Kamalaksh Shetty, Namashi Chakratvi said about her father Mithun, she is not like other Bollywood celebrities. Bollywood people are very fake, my father is a very big exception. He made a place among the people on his own and became a superstar.

Namashi said, when her career was on slopes in the mid -90s, she worked in 100 low budget films. He lived in Ooty and shot there. At that time people used to call him a B-grade actor. But he created his own industry, but the media never supported him, he has his own favorite.

Talking on Insider vs. outsider in Bollywood, Namashi said, Bollywood has forgotten to give work to outsiders. Today it all depends on who you know, what is your background, your surname and your connection. Anyone who had talent in earlier days could have succeeded in the industry. Today, if Mithun Chakraborty comes from Bengal, I do not think Bollywood would have been excited to launch or give him a chance. We do not see talent, we see surname.

He said, the people of the industry have stopped changing the talent coming from outside. This is the reason that no superstar is being born in the industry today, with which the audience feels connected.
