Mumbai : The issue of Maratha reservation is burning in the entire state. In various parts of the state, Maratha agitators have become aggressive over the issue of reservation. In the last two days, the National Highway, Zilla Parishad office, offices of leaders and bungalows were vandalized by the aggressive Maratha activists. NCP MLA Sandeep Kshirsagar’s bungalow and office were set on fire. The message of this agitation has now reached the ministry and some MLAs of all parties have protested at the gate of the ministry today. This movement was started for the reservation of Maratha community. On this occasion, slogans of ‘One Maratha Lakh Maratha’ were also given by the MLAs. However, the MLAs who were protesting even then are raising us today by shouting slogans like ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki Jai’. But tomorrow we will sit again and protest. It was clearly stated that the Maratha community must get reservation.
On this occasion, the police detained MLAs Chetan Tupe, Babasaheb Ajbe, Balasaheb Patil, Raju Navghare, Yashwant Mane, Nilesh Lanka, Amol Mitkari, Rahul Patil, Kailas Patil, Vikram Kale, Dilip Bankar, Babajani Durrani, Mohan Uberde, after which they were arrested by the Azad Maidan Police. was taken to Thane. These MLAs had protested near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi before protesting in the Ministry. He also met Governor Ramesh Bais. On the one hand, while this movement was going on, on the other hand, a meeting of MLAs of all parties was held in the Ministry. In this meeting, everyone agreed on giving reservation to the Maratha community. However, a lasting reservation can be given only after completing the legal aspects and all the parties in the state are ready to work together in this regard, the information was given by the Chief Minister of the state, Eknath Shinde.
