In Punjab, mock drills Amritsar, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Batala, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Adampur, Ludhiana, Halwara, Patiala, Pathankot, Barnala, Mohali, Faridkot, Kotkapura, Rupnagar, Bhakra Nangal, Sangrur and Abohar are being practiced mock drills.

According to the Guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the practice will include activating a siren that warns of air strikes, training citizens, students and others in civil security procedures to protect themselves in hostile attacks, implementing crash blackout measures, hiding important plants and installations prematurely, updating withdrawal plans and practicing them.
