The states adjacent to Pakistan will have a mock drill tomorrow i.e. Thursday evening. These include Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan. At the same time, there will be a drill in Punjab on June 3. People have been appealed to be vigilant.

Earlier on May 7, mock drills were done in 244 districts of the country. In this, citizens were trained to protect themselves during the attack. This was done so that the safety of the people could be ensured in the event of war.

The last such mock drill in the country took place in 1971. Then there was a war between India and Pakistan. This mock drill took place during the war.

In fact, after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, on May 7, India launched aircraft on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan. The army killed 100 terrorists. It was named Operation Sindoor. Since then there has been tension between India and Pakistan.

Mock drill, a kind of “practice” in which we see how and the administration reacts if there is an emergency (such as an air strike or bomb attack).
Blackout exercise means closing the lights of the entire area for a fixed time. The purpose of this is to show how the enemy country attacks, then how can the area be protected in the dark. This makes it difficult to target the enemy.
On May 7, 12 minutes of blackout was done in 244 cities of the country.

These were different from general administrative districts. In this, people, employees, students were explained to rescue and remove people in emergency.

A total of 259 Civil Defense Districts of the country are divided into 3 categories on the basis of their imports or sensitivity. Category 1 is the district who is the most sensitive. There are a total of 13 such districts.

It is placed in the category 1 district due to the Narora Nuclear Plant in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, there are 201 in category 2 while in category 3 has 45 districts.
