While captioning the post, he wrote, “I am grateful to get a chance to play in the Dalip Trophy East Zone. Thank you for the unwavering support of all of you.” Let us tell you that in the Dilip Trophy match, Shami took just 1 wicket in the first innings and took just 1 wicket. At the same time, he spent 36 runs in the second innings and did not take any wicket.

Mohammed Shami did not get a place in Team India’s squad in the Asia Cup 2025 to be played in T20 format. On not getting a place in the team, Shami had said in a recent interview that if he can play Dilip Trophy, then why not the Asia Cup.
