Mohit, who has been directing romantic films for 20 years, says, a good love story is that which has struggle, pain. If everything is easy, the story does not have depth. ‘Saira’ has that emotional layer – an innocent but complex love story.

Mohit said about Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda, they both come from different backgrounds, with different values. Their life is not yet fully organized, but they try to be perfect with each other. As a director, I want to tell a similar love story.

The name Saira means wandering star – a star that always shines, shows the way, but is always a little distance away. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on 18 July 2025. Ahaan Pandey is making his debut with this film, while Anit Padda is known for her role in Big Girls Don’t Cry.
