Monalisa’s double explosion in the twin mesh, two secrets of the same face will open layers of crime

Humble OTT’s new crime thriller web series ‘Twins’ (Judwaa Jaal) has started streaming from 12 June 2025. There are more than one twist in this murder mystery, of which Monalisa’s double performance is an important attraction. In the series, she is playing the role of two twin sisters, Anamika and Shuchi, who has a completely different thinking, emotion and purpose from each other.

What is the story of ‘twin jap’?

The story begins from one night which is mysterious and is filled with deception. After Anamika’s death, her sister Shuchi comes out to find out the truth. But as it opens the layers of the past, the painful truth, emotional confusion and a murder that was coincidental or planned?

Monalisa’s performance and preparation

Monalisa said about this role- “Playing the role of Anamika and Shuchi was one of the most challenging roles of my career. I prepared by watching films like ‘Sita and Geeta’, ‘Chalbaaz’ and ‘Judwaa’. In each scene, the spirit of both the characters was to be shown differently, so I was very much a little bitter before the shooting.

Strong cast and production

‘Twins’ stars Monalisa along with Ankit Bhatia, Palak Singh and other artists in lead roles. The production level of the series is quite high and along with the thrill, it will also see emotional depth. The ‘twin net’ has been available on Hungama Ott and its partner platforms from 12 June 2025.
