Users using UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm get upset due to the payment being stuck many times. The number of UPI users in the country is increasing rapidly, due to which there is a lot of load on the server. Especially in the evening, users have problems in UPI payment. If for some reason your UPI transaction gets stuck and money is deducted from the account, then you do not need to panic. These money easily returns in UPI apps like Phonepay, Paytm, Google Pay.

Do this work immediately

Many times money is deducted from your account but does not reach the merchant or the receiver. In such a situation, you should immediately contact the merchant or receiver. It should be confirmed that money has not reached them. Generally, you get the message of failing transaction within 60 seconds. If a payment pending show is happening in your app, then you should contact UPI service provider.

For this complaint, you have to go to the transaction history of your PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm app. Here you have to select the Rong Transfer to complain and make a dispute rage. After this, give information about transaction ID, UPI ID, amount, date and time etc.

Contact NPCI and RBI

Apart from this, you should contact the customer service of Lander Bank and tell about the problem in the transaction. Every bank has a dedicated redressal mechanism for UPI payments. However, sometimes banks ask to complain in your writing or to visit the branch. If, apps and banks do not overcome the problem in your transaction, then you can carry forward your complaint to NPCI.

For this, go to the official website of NPCI and go to the dispute redressal section and enter your transaction details etc. After this you will have to give supporting documents with complaints. If you do not get solution from NPCI, you can contact RBI. Keep in mind that you can contact the Reserve Bank only after 30 days of complaining to NPCI.

Keep these things in mind while doing UPI

  1. Confirm the receiver’s UPI ID before making payment.
  2. Verify whether the receiver’s name matches the UPI ID or not.
  3. Take care while scanning QR codes.
  4. Do not accidentally click on unknown UPI links.
