Churalamala river on boom
Meanwhile, the Churalamala river is in spate due to continuous rains in the Mundakkai-Churalamala region of Wayanad district, causing mud water to flow rapidly and damage the banks of the river near Bailey Bridge. In July last year, more than 200 people were killed and many houses were destroyed in several landslides in the region. (Language)
