1. Bathing in the morning and resolution, that is, get up before sunrise and take a bath and if clean clothes can be red, then wear it the most auspicious. Clean the place of worship with Ganga water. Pledge to fast while meditating on Maa Durga.

2. If possible, install the urn or install the idol or picture of Maa Durga by laying a red cloth on a clean post. Fill water in a urn and keep mango leaves and coconut in it. Install the urn at the outpost.

3. Then worship Maa Durga, light lamps and incense. ‘Om Dun Durgayai Namah’ Call Goddess Durga while chanting the mantra. Offer red chunari, sindoor, akshat (rice), turmeric, sandalwood and red flowers to Maa Durga. Offer them sixteen makeup content. Then offer fruits and sweets.

4. Chant and recite the mantra. On this day, recite Durga Saptashati, Durga Chalisa or Goddess Mahatmya. And in addition to Maa Durga ‘Om and Hr Klein Chamundayi Vichhe’ Chant

5. If possible, do havan with havan material and offer sacrifices while chanting mantras dedicated to the goddess. Then perform the aarti of Maa Durga at the end of the puja. After the Aarti, distribute the offerings offered in the bhog to family members and others.

6. If possible, on this day you should provide food to 9 girls and 1 child. Honor them by giving them clothes, fruits, sweets and Dakshina.

7. Devotees who observe fast, they can pass the fast after worship and aarti in the evening. Open the fast by consuming fruit or satvik food like pudding, puri, gram and kheer. By following these methods, Maa Durga is pleased and showers her grace on the devotees.
