One such actor is Master Mahendran, who started acting at the age of three and worked as a child artist in more than 100 films in six languages, a record in India. One of Master Mahendran’s most prestigious roles was the role of Master Babu in ‘Sinharsi’. Released in 2001, the Telugu film featured Dr. Rajasekhar and Sakshi Shivanand in the lead roles, but the child character ‘Babu’ played by Master Mahendran in the film’s flashback was actually in the headlines.
Acting started at the age of just 3 years
Master Mahendran, who worked in Tamil and Telugu films, started his acting career at the age of just three. He has worked in more than 100 films in six languages as a child artist, which is a record in India which has not broken till date. Mahendran K.S. Made his debut with Ravikumar’s Nattmai (1994) and won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Child Artist twice for Thaikulame Thakulame (1995) and Kumbakonam Gopalu (1998). In 2013, Master Mahendran made his debut in the lead role, when he starred with Malavika Menon in Vizha directed by Barathi Balakumaran.
Mahendran will be seen in Rajinikanth’s film Coolie
Master Mahendran, who is now Mahendran, had received a lot of praise by playing Vijay Sethupati’s childhood character in the Tamil film Master last time. Mahendran, who was last seen in the Amigo garage, is currently busy in many Tamil films including Musasi, Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Pulse. Rajinikanth is going to be seen in a special role in the starrer film Coolie. The audience is also eagerly waiting for this film. Mahendran will also be seen sharing the screen in this film. However, Mahendran’s character has not been revealed yet.
