Why does the earthquake repeatedly in Afghanistan

Afghanistan is located in one of the most active seismic regions of the Earth, where the Hindu Kush mountain range is the center of both shallow and deep earthquakes. The region is highly active due to being located between the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate. As a result, there are acute earthquakes in the Pamir -Hindu Kush region of Northern Afghanistan, whose depth reaches 200 km (124 mi) – which is a rare phenomenon globally.

In contrast, near the Suleman mountain range (West Pakistan and South-Eastern Afghanistan) and the main Pamir Thrst, earthquakes are usually shallow and disastrous, which come close to the surface where they cause the most damage.
