More than 25 lakh jobs will be created in India’s GCC industry by 2030, the sector will become worth 100 billion dollars in the coming days.
Business News Desk – Indian Global Competence Centers are moving towards becoming a $100 billion (Rs 8.44 lakh crore) industry by 2030. This claim has been made in a report. It has been told that more than 25 lakh experts will work in the Global Capacity Center (GCC). The claims have been made in the report titled ‘India’s GCC Outlook: A Strategic Way Forward for Aspiring Mid-Sized Companies’. The report states that there are currently more than 1700 GCCs in India. Which are generating revenue of 64.6 billion dollars (about Rs 5.5 lakh crore) annually. These GCCs will increase further in the coming times.
These industries are currently providing employment to 19 lakh people. The number of GCC in India is increasing day by day. The strategic importance of industries is also increasing with time. More than half of the GCC have changed their portfolio and working style in the last five years. The cost of production in India is up to 40 percent lower than in Eastern Europe.
Indian GCCs are focusing on things like machine learning to provide convenience to customers as well as train employees professionally. Which is a big thing in terms of technological change. Indian GCCs are taking care that quality is not compromised and their products are launched in the market with efficiency. The report claims to have spoken to over 100 GCC industry experts.
