Mother of Hiramandi became Alamjeb, Bhansali’s niece Sharmin Sehgal gave birth to his son
The Kilakariya, who plays Alamjeb in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazar’, has echoed Kilakariya at the house of Sharmin Sehgal. The actress has given birth to a son. Sharmin is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece.
Sharmin Sehgal tied the knot with businessman Aman Mehta in November 2023. Now after one and a half years of marriage, the couple has welcomed their first child. Sharmin gave birth to a son on May 28, 2025. However, the couple has not yet officially announced this.
Sharmin’s husband Aman Mehta works as an executive director in Torrent Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Torrent Group. Both were married among people close to the family. After marriage, the actress moved to Ahmedabad in Gujarat. There were reports of Sharmin being pregnant in April.
Sharmin Sehgal also worked as an assistant director in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’ before becoming an actress. He entered the world of acting with the film ‘Malal’ in 2019. Sharmin got his real identity from her maternal uncle’s web series ‘Hiramandi’.
